Thanks for checking out my site.
This is a small space where I share articles, insights, stories, and lessons from my professional journey — things I’ve learned along the way in accounting, auditing, and tax.
I’ve spent many years in the field and along the way I’ve developed practical skills in managing projects, working with teams, and giving clear, useful advice that helps people and businesses move forward.
I like to keep things professional and honest. I trust people, and I expect the same in return. If something’s not right, I’ll say so, and I appreciate when others do the same.
I maintain strong professional connections in Nepal and stay closely involved with the Nepali community here in New Zealand. It keeps me grounded and reminds me of my roots.
Outside of work, I try my hand at writing blogs, play chess and badminton, love spending time with family, enjoy cooking (I spend quite a bit of time in the kitchen), and like watching cricket. I also spend time on social sites- who can ignore that 😉.
My wife and I belong to the same generation, yet we grew up in very different worlds — my story often feel like fairytales to her. Those contrasts in our backgrounds have enriched our life together in beautiful ways. If you’re ever around and fancy a chat, I’d love to catch up over a cup of tea (masala, if you can make it) or coffee — there’s always something meaningful to share.
Meanwhile if you want to know a bit more about me in detail, you could check my post “What Matters to Me”.
